The Commission on Aging aims to enhance the quality of life for older Arlingtonians by ensuring all planning and County activities address their specific needs.
The Commission meets from 9-11 a.m. as follows:
- January-February: 4th Monday
- March- December: 3rd Monday
- August: No meeting

Community Engagement Forum
Monday, March 20, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
We invite you to join us at the Central Library Auditorium, 1015 N. Quincy St. to discuss issues about Aging at the 2017 Community Engagement Forum.
The Community Engagement Forum will feature speaker Melissa Andrews, CEO and President of LeadingAge Virginia, and focus on four core areas in aging: Social Engagement, Housing and Economic Stability, Inter-generational Experiences, and Legislation and Policy that Impacts Older Adults. Your input and perspective will help identify the priorities in planning for a livable Arlington for all ages. Free parking offered and light refreshments will be provided.
The Forum will conclude by noon with an option to tour the Central Library and eat lunch. Reservations are required in advance for lunch. Please RSVP for lunch by March 13, 2017.
